Terms of Service

What you're agreeing to

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the App Store Localize service ("the Service"), provided by AppStoreLocalize Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Ukraine.

Registered office: AppStoreLocalize Ltd, Lesi Ukrainky Blvd, 27/2, Kyiv 02000, Ukraine.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Your account

To use most features, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• Keep credentials secure and remain responsible for activity under your account.
• Notify us of unauthorized access by emailing legal@appstorelocalize.com.
• Maintain one account per person unless we explicitly authorize more.

The Service & your license to use it

App Store Localize helps iOS and Android developers:

• Generate privacy policies, terms of service, and contact pages for their apps.
• Host generated pages at unique URLs (docs.appstorelocalize.com/<slug>) suitable for App Store Connect.
• Localize App Store metadata via the App Store Connect API.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for business or personal use.

You may not

• Resell, sublicense, lease, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited by law.
• Use the Service to develop or train a competing product.
• Use the Service in violation of any law or third-party right.

Service availability

We provide the Service on a best-effort basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific uptime. We may schedule maintenance, perform emergency maintenance, or temporarily suspend the Service to protect infrastructure or users.

Your content & generated output

You retain all rights in the inputs you provide and the output we generate for you, including wizard answers, App Store metadata, screenshots, contact details, privacy policies, terms, and hosted pages.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your content solely as necessary to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Generated output is not legal advice

1. The generated text is not a substitute for review by a qualified attorney.
2. We make no warranty that generated text complies with all applicable laws.
3. You are responsible for accuracy, completeness, and legal sufficiency.
4. We are not liable for consequences arising from your use of or reliance on generated text.

Plans, payments, and refunds

• Monthly: $2.99 USD per month, recurring.
• Lifetime: $29.99 USD, one-time.

Pricing is exclusive of applicable taxes; the final price including VAT, sales tax, or other taxes is shown at checkout.

Paddle as Merchant of Record

Payments are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for VAT, sales tax, equivalent tax collection and remittance, fraud prevention, chargebacks, disputes, and PCI compliance.

Auto-renewal

Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through the Paddle Customer Portal from account settings.

Lifetime purchases

Lifetime purchases are one-time and grant access to paid features for as long as the Service operates. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice and an export of your hosted policies.

Refunds

Acceptable use policy

• Do not violate the law or use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Do not infringe rights of third parties.
• Do not misrepresent your identity, authority, or affiliation.
• Do not generate policies for prohibited apps whose practices clearly violate applicable law.
• Do not interfere with the Service through unauthorized access, harmful code, or attacks.
• Do not abuse automated access through scrapers or bots unless expressly permitted in writing.

Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying templates, are owned by AppStoreLocalize Ltd or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

App Store Localize and the App Store Localize logo are our trademarks.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, including the subprocessors listed in our Privacy Policy. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Termination

By us

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for conduct that violates these Terms, harms others, creates legal or regulatory risk, or is fraudulent or abusive. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.

By you

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time.

Effect of termination

Your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Active monthly subscriptions are not refunded; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Hosted legal pages are removed within 30 days.

Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of generated text, or that the Service will meet your requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability & indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppStoreLocalize Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or App Store rejection.

Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or US$100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AppStoreLocalize Ltd from claims arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your violation of third-party rights, content you submit, or reliance on generated output.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence.

Informal resolution first

Before filing a claim, both parties agree to contact the other and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 60 days.

Court jurisdiction

Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by the courts of Kyiv, Ukraine, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires a local forum.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Non-material changes take effect immediately upon posting.

Miscellaneous

• Severability. Invalid provisions do not affect the remaining Terms.
• No waiver. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement regarding the Service.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Language. These Terms are written in English. If a translation is provided, the English version controls.
